Why did Brewster cross the road?

Hello High Hopes Fans

Did you see the new challenge?
The April Challenge can be found here.
It runs through 7pm EST Thursday, April 30th.

Jane

For today's card, I wanted more of a fun card with a farm theme to it!  We have a close friend, who is a chicken farmer, and I thought this would be a perfect card to give to him.  We have an on-going joke about, "Why did the chicken cross the road?"  No one seems to know the answer...lol!

The High Hopes Stamps I used for this card are:  Farm Background (R106), Brewster (H189), and Roadway (J019). These stamps have been available at High Hopes for awhile now, (they are not from the new release on March 19), but they are still very fun to use though!

The images were coloured with Copic Markers. A fair bit of chalking was used on this card - clouds, grass, and sunset/hills in the background.  Red stickles were added on the chicken's head and below his beak, and yellow stickles for the chicken's beak and feet. The letter's "WHY?" were stamped with individual letter stamps and embossed with black embossing powder.  Brewster was fussy cut and foam tape was used to pop him out, to make him look like he left the barn and crossed the road!

Supplies used

Ink - Coloured with Copic Markers, Black Embossing Powder, Versamark Ink Pad.

Paper - White and Black cardstock.

Misc - Chalk, Yellow and Red Stickles, Glue dots, Foam Tape.
