Pilgrim Pair Tag!

Carolina

Hello, High Hope Fans!

Today, I am sharing an easy and quick project you can created in minutes!
The inspiration for this tag came from the beautiful colors of the apples. The stamp I'm using today is called "Pilgrim Pair"

I stamped the image with memento tuxedo black on copic paper, and also stamped it a few more times on small leftovers pattern paper I being collecting from years. I paper piece the clothes, bell buckle, hat, basket and pumpkin, the rest was coloured with copic markers. After I glue all the paper piecing I used C1 and C3 copic markers to give some shadow to the clothes.

Copic Markers I used: Skin E000 E00 V000 R20  Hair/Shoes 0 C1 C3 C5 C7 C9 Apples/Shirt R24 R29 R39 Leaves/Shoes YG95 YG97

Here is a close up!
In this photo you can see how pretty the paper piecing look. I pop my "Pilgrim Pair" with 3D foam adhesive. To created the tag I used the rest of the leftover paper. I used my distress tool and Forest Moss distress ink on the edge of the tag, I also distress the doily.

Fall Fun!

This stamp brought back so many fun memories! When we were kids we had to rake the leaves.....of course we moaned and complained but we kept it fun by making a big pile and jumping in them! I will also admit that I loved doing this with my nieces and nephews as well. After all, if you have to do chores, you might as well try to make them fun right!?

Let me introduce you to an older High Hopes stamp called Fall Joy. How fun is this stamp!?!

I chose to keep the layout simple on this card because I wanted the stamp to be the focus. I coloured the leaves, trees and raccoons with alcohol makers and added the sky with a blue chalk pencil. I mounted the image onto some card stock and then on top of a cut in half polaroid die cut. The sentiment is some rub on letters that I have had in my possession for a very long time! I added a metal heart and some fun orange twine and a couple stitches just for fun!

I hope my card has inspired you to go have some fun and jump in a pile of leaves! You know ya wanna....<wink>

Joy Ride!

Look out everyone there's a new Claus in Town!
Here comes Bob and his wife motoring into Town all ready for Christmas! I can just picture the excitement they left in their wake! I mean who wouldn't stop to watch this cute fashionable couple cruise on by! This High Hopes image is called "Joyride".
Today I am using papers from the Carta Bella "Have a Merry Christmas" 6x6 collection. I cut a MFT Stitched Oval out in 2 sizes and layered them onto my A2 card. My image is cut out and popped up with foam squats for some added dimension. A bow, enamel dots and a Christmas tree brad (hard to see on the bow) finishes this project off.
On the inside I used the Stitched ovals again and stamped my sentiment "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" from High Hopes in red ink.

Copics Used:
Skin: E000, E01, E31, R20
Hair: C1, C3, C5
Suit: C3, C5, C7
Reds: R24, R27, R29, R39
Greens: G82, G85, G99
Headlights: YR000, YR00
Tire: W3, W5, W7
Silver bike parts: Silver Wink of Stella
Wreath leaves & berries: Green & Red gel pens

I also add some glossy accents on the flower pot and the little bird heart.

Happy Fall Y'all

We've made it to Thursday High Hopes fans!

The leaves are starting to turn and the temperatures are getting cooler, it's fall - I love this time of year.

For my card today I used an older High Hopes Stamped callled  Lg. On Guard Rudy and the Happy Fall Y'all (G086) sentiment. I think he is just so cute with his big flower and raven friend.

After colouring Rudy with alcohol markers and fussy cutting him, I added him to a cloud paper and cardstock background. For the brown line around my die cuts, I left the paper in the die and used a brown marker to trace around the die edge - and voila - the perfect "frame". I added some patterned paper - all scraps from my stash - and a bracket. To make the bracket I cut out a Quickutz label and just trimmed off the end. I stamped and matted my sentiment and finished my card off with some dark brown gumdrops.

Spectrum Noir Markers: CR8 CR11 1G1 CT1 CT2 CT4 GB11 TB8 BT9 TB9 OR1 BG4 BG7 BG10 EB3 EB5 EB8 CG1 DG2 PP3 PP5 DR2 TN1 TN3 TN5 5N7

Thankful Friends - High Hopes Stamps

We just celebrated our Canadian Thanksgiving and it was a beautiful weekend to do so!
I tried to add some Fall elements like burlap, twine, and colourful leaves along with Fall colours.
Coloured with Copics and a little touch of  airbrushing was added to the sky.
I picked this pumpkin up on a drive just North of the City.  I love it!! It called a "Warty" pumpkin  which I've newer seen before!
|Thanks for peeking. Hope you enjoy the rest of the week!

Guard Duty Rudy!

Are you stuffed?
So are you full to the brim? It was Thanksgiving this past weekend for us Canadians and we spent it up at the cottage doing nothing but eating LOL. I'm stuffed and probably don't have to eat all week now! For my post today I am sharing with you two cards using the adorable High Hopes Stamp called "Guard Duty Rudy".
I chose papers from the new Echo Park The Story of Fall 6x6 collection! The papers in this collection are beautiful, I almost wanted to hoard them rather than use them (LOL). I inked all the edges of my paper with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Vintage Photo.
